Fundraiser Benefits Arkansas Credit Unions Foundation
A raffle to raise money for the Arkansas Credit Union Foundation was held in the fall. Credit unions across the state sold tickets for a Honda 4-wheeler. Twenty-five credit unions participated, and after expenses, over $7,300 was raised to benefit the Foundation.

The drawing was held at the International Credit Union Day event aboard The Arkansas Queen.
Five people won $100 prizes:

Kay Robinson, a member of Arkansas Superior FCU
Glenn Brady with Patterson FCU
Jerry Sutton with Mil-Way FCU
Shirley Sanders of UARK FCU
Gary Washington, a member of Arkansas Superior FCU

The big winner of the Honda 4 wheeler was Louis Lusk of Pine Bluff Cotton Belt FCU. Mr. Lusk’s health prevents him from really enjoying the 4-wheeler, so it was purchased from him by James Laminack, President of PBCB FCU.
