Arkansas Credit Unions Raise Over $150,000 for Arkansas Children’s Hospital
The credit unions of Arkansas were recognized by the staff of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital for their efforts in raising money for Children’s Miracle Network. Collectively, the credit unions raised over $150,000.

An appreciation luncheon was held in their honor on January 22, 2009, at the Children’s Life Center on the campus of Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Awards were presented to credit unions that met and/or exceeded their recommended giving level. Arkansas credit unions are, as a group, one of the major contributors to the Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network. To raise funds, credit unions sell candy bars, hold bake sales, silent auctions, golf tournaments, hot dog lunches, and numerous other activities over the course of a year.
